D2D - Design To Distribution

What They Do

Their flagship product is EcoGran™, a biodegradable polymer granule used in sustainable packaging.

They also make bio-additives — fully compostable additives that give films or packaging anti-static, UV protection, odor control, or antimicrobial properties.

These materials are designed to work with standard manufacturing processes (like injection molding, blown film extrusion), so they can replace conventional plastics without massive retooling.

Why It Matters

By using agricultural waste to make biopolymers, Ukhi is helping reduce crop burning (a major environmental issue) and giving value back to farmers.

Their materials fully compost (rather than lingering like traditional plastics), helping close the loop towards a truly circular economy.

In July 2025, Ukhi partnered with DCGpac (a large B2B packaging distributor) to scale distribution of EcoGran across India.
