Packaging Tips

Here are some things to keep in mind when packaging your items for shipping:-

1 - Selecting the Right Box:-

Choose a box that is slightly larger than the item you are sending, so that you will be able cushion the item with packing material on all sides. Properly label the package and include a return address. If you are reusing a box, cover any previous labels or cross out any previous address information with a prominent black marker.

2 - Packing the Item:-

Pack the item with bubble wrap, peanut foam, or paper. Close and shake the box to check whether you have enough cushioning. Add more packing materials if the items shift. Include a shipping label inside the box.

Sealing the Box:-

(I). Use clear or brown packaging tape, reinforced packing tape or paper tape that is at least two inches wide. Do not use masking tape, cellophane tape, cord, string, or twine.

(II). Tape the opening of the box and reinforce all seams.

Irregularly Shaped Items

Base Metals:-Completely tape the address label to the item being shipped. Do not use "flying tags." Cover sharp or protruding edges with taped-on corrugated cardboard pieces.

Fabric and Wallpaper:- Rolled goods travel best when shipped in corrugated boxes. If a fabric roll is shipped in a bag, make sure the bag is tightly wrapped and taped to reduce the risk of tearing. Place duplicate labels inside core or between top layers of material.

Note:- Be sure and check with your carrier about any specific packing requirements. Some carriers assess additional handling charges for:

• Any article that is not fully encased in an outside shipping container.
• Any article that is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal or wood.
• Cans or pails that are not fully encased in a shipping container of corrugated cardboard.
• Irregularly shaped or oversized items

How to Pack Paintings

• Take your paintings off the wall and place them on a flat, stable surface.
• Make an "X" across the front of the paintings with "Masking tape" if they are framed with glass. This will protect the paintings and keep the glass in place in case it breaks or cracks when the paintings are moved.
• Cover the glass or top of the painting with a piece of heavy "Corrugated Sheet". This could be part of a box that you are not using. The "corrugated sheet" should be large enough to cover the glass, but not bigger than the entire painting.
• Wrap the paintings in a thick layer of "bubble wrap". Depending on the shape of the paintings, you can wrap horizontally or vertically, or both, whichever keeps the paintings more secure.
• Look for "boxes" that are appropriately sized for your paintings.
• Place paintings one at a time inside the "boxes". If there is extra space inside the box, stuff newspaper, rags or other filling into the box so the painting has little room to move
• Gently move the box back and forth to see if the painting can move. If it can, fill the box with more packing material.
• Close the boxes and use "packing tape" to seal up all the edges.
• Write "Fragile" with thick black "marker" or paste a "Fragile sticker" on the side of the box so the people moving it will know that something breakable and valuable is inside.

How to use Tamper Proof Envelops

• Choose an envelope that is slightly larger than the document you are sending, so that you will be able to put that document in envelop easily.
• Put that document inside the envelope and seal it. These are the self-adhesive envelops so after putting the document just seal it.
• After that just insert the shipping address in the transparent POD jacket or you can paste shipping address on the envelope with the help of "Transparent BOPP Tape".
• If you need extra security about your document you can use "Bubble laminated envelops" and same process will be applicable in that envelops also.

How to use Bubble Envelops

• First you take your that item you are sending anywhere, and please chose a bubble envelop which is a little bit larger than that item.
• Put that item in the "Air bubble pouch" and seal it with the help of Stapler pin or Bopp Tape.
• Write the address on a blank page with "Marker".
• Paste address with "TPT Bopp Tape" and ship it anywhere.

How to use Foam Pouches

• First you take your that item you are sending anywhere, and please chose a "Foam envelop" which is slightly larger than that item.
• Put that item in the "Foam pouch" and seal it with the help of Stapler pin or "Bopp Tape".
• Write the address on a blank page with "Marker".
• Paste address with "TPT Bopp Tape" and ship it anywhere.

How to use Gift Potli Bags

• If you want to send some small gift items to or wants to send some Dry fruits in wedding and even in other occasions. Then you can use this Designer Potli Bags.
• Just take a bag open it and put the gift or Dry Fruit inside it.
• Take a small corrugated box and put that bag inside the box and seal it with the tape or it can be self-lock.

How to use Heavy Duty Box

• If you want to ship large appliances like TV than put it on a flat, stable surface.
• Cover the TV with a piece of heavy "Corrugated Sheet". This could be part of a box that you are not using. The "corrugated sheet" should be large enough to cover the whole TV, but not bigger than the entire item.
• After that just wrap it with the thick layer of "Air Bubble Roll" we can wrap it two or three times for more safety.
• Select a "heavy duty box" which is approximate larger than the item.
• Put that TV in the "Heavy Duty Box" and put some peanut foam or "Thermocol balls" for cushion the item.
• Close the boxes and use "packing tape" to seal up all the edges.
• Write "Fragile" with thick black "marker" or paste a "Fragile sticker" on the side of the box so the people moving it will know that something breakable and valuable is inside.
